The food here is amazing and they just remodeled everything is new. I hear their putting a Pho Bar in !!!! Can't wait to come back and try the PHO CHALLENGE !!! GREAT SPOT FOR FAMILY, FRIENDS, AND SOCIAL GATHERINGS.

Vietnam Star is a great restaurant. Everything I've had here was fresh and hot and delicious! Me and my family have been coming here for years and they have always been super friendly. The restaurant is easy to see from White Bear Ave on the west side of the road next to Maplewood Mall. So you should stop in and try some of their great dishes.

spring rolls are good but i don't like noodles soup . the rice and meats are ok.

So I'm from the west coast, California and I have friend's that own a vietnamese restaurant in orange county and I'm used to that authentic taste of pho and bahn mi, vermicelli etc. Pho restaurants are huge! I have been craving pho for so long and Vietnam Star did not deliver. The broth was bland. Pho is a rice noodle soup, the noodles and the soup depend on the broth so while the meal looked amazing. I didn't finish it because it didn't taste good. The egg roll and spring roll were delicious but the what the pho? (Another pho restaurant reference) the broth lacked so much flavor.

Nice, fast and friendly restaurant. Delicious Pho with generous portion of beef in the pho tai. We also ordered spring rolls and they were also good. We were glad we stopped.

I would rate this a 4.5! Very flavorful food at a reasonable price! Portion sizes are good and the atmosphere is pleasant. My second experience was today and both were GREAT. The staff are polite and helpful. My fiance actually ordered a suggestion by our server and it was exactly what he was looking for.

Everything is wonderful, egg rolls are the best that money can buy, the hot n spicy chicken is #1, the secret sauce is purely heaven. Spring rolls are lovely, Ive never gotten anything bad ever from this restraunt and plus the owner and employees are super friendly. I highly recommend this place , great food and clean place and great service!!!!

Hadn't had a chance to try this place out before and I'm sad I was missing out on such amazing food. Everything is so fresh and flavorful. Staff is amazing and courteous. Wings were yummy and my chicken curry was perfection. They do carry a lot of vegetarian options along with more traditional faire.

Not only is the food great, but the hospitality is the best I've ever seen. The owner is there nearly every day and is awesome! She remembered my name after not having been in the restaurant for 5 years while I had moved away.Awesome place! Try the 5 spicy seafood!
